That was quick: The Obamas on Monday acquired their first Oscar nod for their production firm’s debut documentary, American Manufacturing unit.

The 2020 Academy Award nominations included the Greater Floor’s Netflix film among the many pics for Greatest Documentary.

The Obamas signed a multi-year cope with Netflix back in May 2018 to supply a string of TV collection, films and documentaries (both fiction and nonfiction) for the streaming big.

The Obamas’ Greater Floor manufacturing firm can also be set to release a youngsters’s present for preschoolers referred to as Take heed to Your Vegetables & Eat Your Mother and father, a narrative movie adaptation of the biography Frederick Douglass: Prophet of Freedom and a new collection from Nashville creator Callie Khouri referred to as Bloom.
