Jed Duggar has launched a career in politics.

On Sunday, Jed, 20, announced he is running for Arkansas State Representative as a conservative.

“I’m saying my candidacy for Arkansas State Consultant District 89 in Springdale. I’d recognize your prayers, help and your vote!” Jed wrote on Instagram alongside a campaign photograph.

Jed is the son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and starred in TLC’s 19 Youngsters and Counting and is presently on Counting On alongside his siblings.

In his campaign announcement, Jed, né Jedidiah, revealed that he is “Professional-Life. Pro Second Amendment. Professional Spiritual Liberty.”

The TLC star goals to “Fight the Opioid Crisis and lower taxes.” He additionally hopes to build “more jobs” and grow a “robust financial system.”

Jed additionally shared a video, expressing his political beliefs and objectives he will accomplish if elected.
